As a trained historian and with over three and a half decades on the platform as a Presbyterian preacher, Dr. Ron Patton brings significant historic characters to life in the 21st Century.  Weaving real stories into his keynote presentations, he lays historic foundations, inspires audiences to positive action and entertains audiences in the areas of  patriotism, acceptance of diversity and high ethics.

 

Dr. Ron Patton holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Cincinnati, McCormick Theological Seminary and San Francisco Theological Seminary.  In addition to his over 37 years in the pulpit and on the platform, he has been a member of an Adjunct College Faculty teaching Public Speaking.  Dr. Patton has also been a writer, producer and performer in community theatre and television and a professional radio announcer and engineer.

 

Dr. Ron Patton’s community service includes fine and performing arts organizations and boards of educational and service organizations.

 

Dr. Patton is a Professional Member of National Speakers Association and has served as President of the Kansas City Chapter.

Col. Beauregard T. Justice – 1850 – “Follow the Drinking Gourd – Stories of the Underground Railroad”

  • Through true stories of mid-19th Century America, Col. Justice teaches about how over 60,000 slaves were transported to freedom by men and women who risked their lives.

For churches:

  • Col. Justice leads a worship service based on mid-19th Century American worship traditions, including hymns and excerpts from the work of anti-slavery leader, the Rev. John Rankin, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Ripley, Ohio.
